Beginning on November 20th, we will hold a special election to complete our 2024 NRWA Board of Directors. Be sure to get your vote in no later than Wednesday, November 22 at midnight, ET. Voting will be open to all current NRWA members.

During this special election, our slate of candidates includes the following elected positions:

PRESIDENT-ELECT: Provides support for President and chairs as requested. Assists with recruiting for incoming chairs and officers. Serves as Public Image Committee Chair, DEI Committee Chair, and Ethics Chair, handling grievances, coordinating and monitoring elections, and working with third-party providers to extinguish fraudulent use of the NRWA name, certifications, or logo. There is one candidate running for this position.

DIRECTORS OF MEMBER SUPPORT (DOMS for short!): Perform a critical role on the board, serving as a direct point of contact for NRWA’s members. They help you connect with NRWA education and other resources and provide forums for learning about your needs and goals, soliciting your ideas and feedback, and communicating all of these to the board to guide development of key programs and membership benefits.

• Military & Workforce Career Centers: The Incumbent is running for one available seat.
• Experienced Business Owners: There are two candidates running for two board seats.

Voting will be open to all current NRWA members starting November 20th. Members have until Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at 12 midnight, ET, to vote for the candidates of their choice.
