New Orleans native, Grant Cooper, founded Strategic Resumes, Career Coaching, and Business Plans in 1994. He has appeared as a career expert on CBS, NBC, ABC & FOX TV & AM/FM radio. He has landed career services contracts for the U.S. Air Force, Kinko's, the Louisiana Dept. of Labor, the City of New Orleans, Job1, professional and collegiate sports teams, as well as universities, regional banks, celebrities, and major corporations. Strategic Resumes landed a national contract in 1995 with the Kinko's Corporation, with Grant's team of dozens of writers creating resumes for the customers of 350+ Kinko's location nationwide prior to its acquisition by FedEx. Mr. Cooper authored the first digital Resume Critique software program, created in 2002 and sold to universities, the military, career centers, and resume writers coast to coast and overseas. As a former corporate director, government manager, and business owner, Mr. Cooper can provide unique insights into what he calls the "Jedi Mind Tricks" of landing the best jobs. Grant was appointed to a 5-year term on the New Orleans Saints Fan Advisory Board, is past president of his neighborhood association, won the CDI President's Award, and is a distinguished alumni of Louisiana State University. Grant's wife, Kris, is a university executive, and he is the proud father of three grown children (scientist, mountain bike manufacturer's rep, doctor).
