How I help
Coming from a higher education background, Kate has over 20 years of educational coaching experience, 15 years of leadership experience including hiring and employee management, and over 10 years of career coaching with college students, professionals pursuing technical certifications, and career changers. She is a nationally certified online profile expert (LinkedIn) through the National Résumé Writers' Association.
As an advocate of positive and growth mindset, Kate helps her clients see the successes and strengths of their past and use these as evidence for success in the career transition process. With a background working with students from a wide variety of disciplines, she loves to learn from her clients about what they do and why they love it; in turn, this becomes a strong component of the personal storytelling that takes place in the networking and job applications process.
Outside of work, Kate is very active in her community serving on the board of the local community foundation, fundraising for a bi-annual county-wide mural/public art festival, and installing hundreds of thousands of lights in the town park every winter.
