If there is heavy rain or other inclement weather, activities at some stops may be slightly modified. HAUNTED BOAT TOUR WITH THE PROVIDENCE RIVERBOAT COMPANY Tuesday, October 8 6:30 p.m. – 8 p.m. $75 per person (includes boxed meal) Immerse yourself in the spooky side of Providence’s history on this 90-minute private chartered riverboat tour. Our tour guide from Providence Ghost Tours will introduce us to some of the city’s longest-lingering residents as we cruise along scenic waterways as we enjoy a hearty boxed meal and beverage from Hotel Providence. Surrounded by the moonlit bridges, cobblestone walkways and century-old architecture of downtown Providence, we will hear stories of the capital city’s “dearly-deceased-but-not-so-departed” residents; local literary giants and humble servants alike; their restless souls still stirring among the living. NOTE: The boarding area for the haunted boat ride is an easy 10-minute walk from the hotel. Uber/Lyft and other transportation options are available for those who need them. Please let us know if you need any assistance arranging for transportation. This excursion is limited to 16 participants. INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY: All boat rides typically run in light rain and other moderate weather conditions so come prepared with umbrella and raincoat if the forecast calls for rain. Our boat may launch a few minutes late if there is a passing storm or shower. In the event of severe or unsafe weather conditions, the company reserves the right to cancel. If this occurs, you will receive a full refund. |
