Help Shape the Future of the NRWA – 2027 Board Nominations Are Now Open

We are pleased to announce that nominations are now being accepted for the 2027 NRWA Governing Board. 

Serving on the NRWA Board is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact, not only for our association, but on the future of our industry. It’s a chance to step into a leadership role, elevate your presence within the profession, and advance the NRWA while strengthening how we serve career services professionals. 

Positions Open for 2027:

• President-Elect (2-year term, followed by a 2-year term as President)
• An exciting opportunity to gain the leadership skills needed to drive an organization to success. Work alongside the Governing Board to shape strategy, lead key initiatives, and guide the future of the NRWA.
• Treasurer (2-year term, plus 1-year advisory transition)
• A critical leadership role focused on financial stewardship and organizational stability. Oversee budgeting, reporting, and fiscal strategy while ensuring transparency.

Who Should Apply

Nominate yourself or a qualified member. We encourage nominations from members who:

• Have demonstrated involvement and leadership within the NRWA within the past 10 years
• Show initiative and accountability, with the ability to think strategically, follow through, and drive ideas to completion
• Bring a collaborative, forward-thinking mindset, balancing innovation with practical solutions that support the organization’s continued growth and stability
