After graduating from a top 100 law school with honors in legal writing, I taught college writing courses for 7 years and simultaneously practiced law for 12 at top-tier law firms and at a Fortune 200 company. My company name, The Writing Guru®, started off as a nickname due to my professional writing skills and has since become my trademarked brand. I left practicing law in 2015 to pursue my writing dreams and the business full-time. My powerful and unique background helps me to better understand what makes a great resume, a robust LinkedIn profile, and branded content for publications. I am a former board member for the NRWA and the first-ever nationally certified resume writer (NCRW) who is a licensed attorney.

I provide each client with 1:1 personalized service. I do not outsource projects. I coach you, I write your resume, and I target your job search. My projects span an investment of 15-20 hours of time with clients with extensive strategy coaching.
