Board Bio
Nancy Grant, MS, NCOPE attended her first conference in 2015 and has been hooked on the NRWA ever since. Connecting with others engaged in the craft of writing resumes is what keeps her coming back year after year.
For over 20 years, Nancy has worked as a career consultant in the Finger Lakes of NY, operating Regional Career & Employment Services. With an authentic and engaging style, Nancy leads by example and serves as an employment advocate and career coach to those she partners.
Nancy volunteered to join the conference committee in 2016 and has chaired the planning team since 2018. Since then, the NRWA has seen adventures and overcome challenges. From planning a conference cruise to going virtual, Nancy has kept our conference the cornerstone of our annual highlights. As a result, Nancy was the 2021 recipient of our own Vivian Belen Award for her commitment to ethical volunteer leadership for her service to the NRWA. In her final year as conference chair, Nancy is looking forward to leading the 2023 conference and sharing her expertise and resources to the next emerging leader within NRWA.
Nancy stays engaged and invested in professional development in many ways. In addition to her service with the NRWA, Nancy also serves as a Board Member for the New York State Rehabilitation Council, Testing Specialist at Finger Lakes Community College, and as an Advisory Member to the Plymouth State University Alumni Association.
