I specialize in editing and updating resumes to present the client in the most advantageous manner. I enjoy helping clients discover/recognize their own unique skills and attributes to help them stand out from the rest of the applicant pool.
Educators
As a former lead teacher I participated in many job interviews and have considerable experience with resumes for educators. I also edit and write for an online university website. These experiences make me an excellent choice to edit/write your resume or CV for a position as an educator.
Tech Candidates
As a writer for a tech-focused HR blog, I am familiar with the needs and requirements of tech hiring managers and can edit tech resumes knowledgeably.
Healthcare Candidates
Many experiences in my background make me uniquely qualified to work on healthcare resumes for nurses, technicians, and other healthcare workers:
1) I majored in science with the intent of going to med school (I obtained a B.S. in both English and Science), so I have a solid background in health sciences and medical terminology.
2) My sister and her two daughters are nurses, one niece is a speech therapist, and my son-in-law is now Lab Supervisor (after many
resumes and job upgrades) in a large metroplex hospital, and of course I helped with all of their resumes.
3) I have edited books on autism for AAPC, a self-help psychotherapy book for a psychologist, and a book on nursing by a nursing
supervisor. By the time you edit books such as these, you know a lot about the subject!
