As a career coach and 4x certified resume writer, I've offer caring academic, career, and life counsel in universities for 30+-years working with students and new grads to select academic majors, tailor resumes, write cover letters, target internships/jobs, dissect job postings, polish interview skills, and complete on-line applications. I've sat on search committees for Provost, Dean, VP, and Chair roles, and have learned what an interview-winning CV looks like to those committees. Fifteen years ago, I expanded my consulting and CV/resume writing to mid-level managers, C-suite executives, and higher education administrators, and consult for executive career development firms.
It was my honor to travel statewide to train MT Department of Labor staff and leadership, sharing expertise on resume/cover letter writing, career coaching, career pivots, ATS, and implicit bias in hiring via webinars for NACE, Resume Writing Academy, and Career Thought Leaders; Voice America guest presentations; AOLJobs featured interviews; conference presentations at NACADA, NRWA, CUPA-HR and CTL; and sharing samples of my work in top-selling books. Ten years ago, I was nominated by my peers to be a grader for the highest resume certification, the NCRW, and to join the Study Guide Commission.
